Hi mark -- thought you might be interested to see my scala code to accomplish the same thing. It encompasses both the security manager and the parser. You can run it with -Djava.security.manager=org.improving.SM and then retrieve the policy file by calling SM.policy(). http://github.com/paulp/scala-improving/blob/master/src/security/SM.scala
