  Sending SMS Messages Using Windows XP
Subject:   "no device previously used"

I resolved the "There is no device previously used" on Vista commandline by running smssender as administrator (using Runas) once, it then started to work. I still have 2 problems: 1. I haven't found a correct way to use /i it simply says invalid. 2. There seems to be a limit to the number of digit can put in for /p, that make sms to oversea phones a problem, I couldn't send to mobile in China (though can send using GUI).

    To resolve this problem you can put your modem name into the register (e.g. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SMSSender]
    "DeviceName"="Nokia 6230i bps" )
    or send at least one SMS via smssender gui with "Enable Logging" checked
