Would someone put me out of my misery? I read more than I should about these two. I work as a classical music (voice) teacher and want something to record in the studio. The price difference between the two is enough to make me want to be sure that the extra for the Sony would really be worth it. Since I live in Columbus, OH I haven't found any place that carries these where I can see and touch them so I can know.

LS10 vs PCM D50

I have both the LS10 and the D50.
The advantage of the LS10: Windshields are supplied with the device and it is much smaller.
It runs on two AA batteries (4 on D50).
The internal microphones sound a little better on the D50, but only a little...
So, for making some test recordings for education, the LS10 is the choice.
I hope this is helpful.
