My Rev A iMac G5's [fourth!] power supply has died, leaving me with a doorstop. I am purchasing a Core2Duo iMac to replace it.


How do I migrate from the old iMac's HD?


I can remove the drive and put it in a firewire enclosure. Will that work with the Migration Assistant? Do I mount it first and then tell the MA that it is "another volume on this Mac?"
