Heh, I know what you mean. It'll make more sense in the context of the other two articles.


The main question for me is "What does it take to develop a piece of non-trivial software on this platform?" Where I'm used to saying "I need GCC, GDB, and Valgrind, so aptitude install build-essential valgrind", I think there's a fair comparison to installing and configuring software here.
