4 years down the line, many things have changed in mesh networking. Vommunity mesh networks have now reached cloud sizes of 1000 nodes. Mesh movements like the european Freifunk have spread from their hometowns over all five continents. Protocols have been improved and added (OLSR, B.A.T.M.A.N., ...).
