| Where do you pack your tripod? I assume it would not be allowed as a carry on, but do you encounter problems having it in checked luggage. I travel with a carbon fiber and ball head. | ||

The ball head I put into my luggage so as to minimize the potential for damage to it.
I also travel with a carbon fiber and ball head. Good way to keep the weight down.
