| When I use your instructions to modify the boot.ini, I do get the Ubuntu Linux boot selection but it just goes to a black screen. However, if I set the Ubuntu Partition to active and use the Ubuntu Boot Menu, it shows Windows XP in its boot Menu and then both operating systems load fine. I followed you directions step buy step and in fact went through the process 3 times and could never get Ubuntu to start from the Windows Boot Menu. | ||
