We have a Windows 2003 Server and I'm having a problem with deleting Desktop Icons and Internet Explorer favourites from a couple of PC's that are attached to the network. The offending articles in question are deleted and removed from the Recycle Bin but once the PC is rebooted the icons re-appear. I know that this is releted to Roaming Profiles but as yet have not found an answer to this problem. Any ideas?

  I am having some what of the same issue, except mine is with a local folder. just can not delete it no matter what.
