| I listened to the posted guitar sample wav files recorded with the internal mic's of the Zoom H2 and the Edirol R-09 and noticed that the R-09 sounded richer and more dynamic. Is the R-09 a higher end recording device than the H2? | ||

R-09 performance vs. Zoom H2

I all heard a cello sample and the R-09 just blew away the Zoom H2 and the H4 some units have a bit more detail but not as smooth or deep in the Bass as with the R-09. The R09 playback the cello far closer as if I was setting in a concert. I was thinking about the SONY PCM-D50 but the R09 is a good choice if you can handle the wider image mics that might pick up more noise in the room
