Thanks, Shouting Man. I appreciate the links back to this article. It's also neat how you solved the Internet Explorer "click to activate this control" annoyance by moving the loadMovie() function to an external file.


Perhaps it's a shortcoming of iWeb, but I noticed you included the external script links with each movie. You only need them once per page.

    It's an iWeb limitation that requires the javascripts references by each movie. I need to experiment some more but a quick attempt showed it necessary.

    It was that need that got me to move the loadmovie() to an external file as well.

    Thanks again for the code. I'm now using it with iWeb to create a video gallery for my Toastmasters club. This coding dramatically simplifies the layout of the website, with only a modest increase in iWeb usage complexity.
