I enjoy both, but I hear you too. I've avoided many a "women in technology" conference or organization because it has amounted more to "women near technology" -- women promoting or popularizing the end product of a lot of hard geeking. But half the programmers at my job are women, and they are some of the geekiest. We're out there! |
