I'm new to all of this PHP/MYSQL. I've been trying for days now to do this. My problems are: 1.How do I make the mysql server to run on the localhost. 2.when I index http://localhost/populate.php?url=http://www.macdevcenter.com/ I get exactly the same answer in the PAGE table, instead of only http://www.macdevcenter.com/ 3.How does the populate do all the things it is supposed to do regarding reading the database?
