| hi, I'm sandip, I have instaaled tomcat v5.5.8 on windows Xp, but when i tried to open the tomcat welcome page http:/localhost:8080/.. it says the page cannot be displayed. i have done everything from confiuration of tomcat and setting the PATH and JAVA_PATH variables.... but the problem remained unsolved.....I"m trying on tomcat from last 3 weeks...please give me any suggetions so that i can continue my programing work...My pc doesnot have any inetrnet connection...Please try to find some answers...I'm in very desperate conditions...thanks | ||

If your tomcat is located in c:\tomcat then CATALINA_HOME=c:\tomcat and add %CATALINA_HOME%\bin to path.
