Although I agree with the other posts re: Hibernate, EJB containers, etc. the article is specifically titled "...with Tomcat". But that being said, you neglected to point out an important feature in Tomcat, the ability for deployable war files to defne their contexts using the META-INF/context.xml file. Not only is it not desireable to edit server.xml (which requires a restart), in some situations it may not be possible (e.g. in some hosted environments). -Dario Laverde

  Connection pooling is a new concept for me. I would like to know how it used. How server.xml is configured and how DataSource object is used in our coding. Plz. send me reply with coding support.
