I brought the iPod Shuffle into the Apple Store, and they replaced it for free even though it's about 4 months out of warranty (about 7 months old).

i've got the same problem
i'm not signing up for iTunes, I just wanna put some mp3's I've got onto the shuffle for my wife. do they go into the iTunes folder, or how's it work? -
