  I have a 3G mobile in Australia and I require the restriction code for the Nokia 6280 as I wish to use my old sim card with the phone but it won't allow it "asking for the code".
  
  It used to be that it was convenient to be able to swap sim cards from phone to phone flat batteries etc. But these guys are changing the market.
  
  3 is the name of the phone company.
  They are owned by Hutcinson 3G Australia Pty Limited.

  hi, I also have a Nokia 6280 locked on to the 3 network, i find the staff of this network extremely difficult.
  I wanted my phone unblocked as I prefer the network i am with but as i bought the phone 2nd hand they refused to do this. (I am not the registered owner)
  If the fone is registered in ur name (by the IMEI number not the sim) you could try contacting the network and telling them you are moving abroad, but as 3 are a worldwide network they may just shun u off. As far as I have found (after hours of searching the internet) there is no way to unlock this model of phone, i have tried everything and have also been told there is no software to unlock this fone at all, NOKIA CAN'T EVEN HELP ME!!!! There are no default codes or wcable programs either.

  hello, i also have a nokia(6280) vodafone unlocked,so im not registered owner he is england im kuwait now,he gave me presant for me this phone but it have restriction code?i dont know can you help me to unlocked this phone as soon as posible,this number was phone inside near the battrey 00180fd11474 and code 0531657
  down was this number 351861/01/184400/8 like this,and made in finland.do you want more about this phone please write to me as soon as im wating your help
