What kind of data sources will work with this port. Will Filemaker work or is MySQL needed? Any idea when the next article will be posted? I can't wait to try it. Red Hat is installing as we speak.

I have tested MySQL and PostgreSQL with CFMX on Mac OSX.
CFMX (Linux) ships with a restricted version of PointBase for example programs, etc. PointBase is written entirely in Java and runs without modification on Mac OS X.
I also plan to try Full PointBase and OpenBase -- both available for Mac OS X.
