I didn't see a mention (may have skimmed past it) of using Quartz Composer files as Screen Savers.
Just put your .qtz file into ~/Library/Screen Savers, and you'll be able to select it with the Desktop & Screen Saver pref pane. I've got some very cool screen savers to choose from when I need them. And you can get a lot more from http://www.quartzcompositions.com/phpBB2/upload/index.php ... some very slick work there.
