| I'd note that SOAP & REST can be used together in another way; where SOAP is used just as one would use Atom or RSS, as a wrapper for data. It doesn't help much if your management has swallowed the BPEL pitch, but if "Web services" to them means "SOAP and WSDL" or just "SOAP" (which I suspect is the common case), then it seems more suitable than what you've described there (as interesting as that is - don't get me wrong). | ||
