Ditto to your question.... did you ever find a solution to "you cannot rebuild database". I really hope you are able to help. I have the same problem. -

I am a technician and am looking into this..
as of now I suggest scraping the entire MSOffice program on you mac and reinstalling and setting it up again.
Or better yet Ditch the MAC and get a PC with outlook... works better:)
