| Make sure the box next to each song in your playlist is checked. Otherwise, you'll get a solid green light and no sound (because you've indicated to ipod that there's nothing in your playlist you want to play). | ||

my music off itunes has beeen transfered onto my ipod but when i turn it on i get a green light which doesnt go and no sound i followed your advice by making sure all my songs were checked but still there is no difference -

My shuffle is doing the same have you fixed yours if so how. mine is new and never worked help.
