I am missing a discussion on the role AOP plays in exception handling. Exception softwening, after throwing advice are IMO more interesting techno's for exception handling than Struts.

    The focus of the article is to have a detailed discussion on a new exception handling approach. Because of already broad canvas, it doesn't talk about other technos. Many of the enterprises may not want to go to AOP way because of enhanced complexity and sheer difficulty in debugging. You do not need a hammer, if the same problem could be resolved in object oriented way.
