I'm an Fed Ex employee and although i've been with the company for more than 13 years, I do hate it, but I'm stuck working for this piss ass company untill I retire. That doesn't mean I get a kick out of what you dumb asses write and all your worthless complaints. Go read the UPS sucks forums and you will see the same complaints with different names. People make mistakes, we're human. Just like you dumb asses who ship with Fed Ex, you all make mistakes too. Just a few examples...

Fedex Customers Suck

I would guess that you are one of the people that causes people like me to refuse to use Fedex. I refuse to use this company. Your tracking information doesn't mean squat. Whereas I can fully trust UPS's tracking information, yours mean nothing. When UPS tracking says it's going to be delivered on a certain day it is. I have had exactly one problem wit UPS. They lost a package of mine but they took care of it with great speed. Never, NEVER have they ever not delivered a package on the day their tracking indicated. Fedex however is constantly changing the delivery date whenever I buy something on Ebay or anywhere else and the vendor uses Fedex. One more thing. I can always depend on the UPS driver to be at my door at the same time whenever I am expecting a package, withing 30 mines plus or minus. I never know when Fedex is coming, if at all. Your company should start using the same terminology that the cable company uses. "We'll be there between 8:00 AM and midnight(maybe)".

I too am a fedex employee and every one of the shipping companies have issues. No we are not perfect and we make more mistakes than none. I have ordered things and recieved them from UPS as well as USPS. My packages from USPS arrived damaged as well as late or never arriving at all. UPS delivered late as well as damaged also. Customers complain about the price of shipping packages. Do you realize how much it would cost to buy a plane ticket and fly it there yourself. You are paying for fuel for the trucks and planes. The employees wages that picks up your package, sorts and delivers your pacage. Not every experience is a bad one with Fedex. If it were the case we would not be in buisness. There are millions of satisfied customers. If your packages arrive damaged try speaking to the shipper of the package. I had a customer tell me that she shipped some wine glasses in a box filled with peanuts. They arrived broken. Duh! What did you expect.. I brought a computer on EBAY and the idiot shipped the monitor in a box with peanuts.. I wasn't mad at USPS. I was mad at the idiot shipping it. I paid for insurance but it could not be honored because it wasn't packaged properly. We employees are not always handling your packages. They go through a system of mechanical slides, arms and bump other boxes. As for couriers faking deliveries. Please. I have seen it first hand being an ex courier myself. We call from the callbox and your on the phone and won't answer, knock on your door and maybe your in the shower or even on the toilet and don't hear the door. I had a stop once where I went to pickup a package and the lady's door was wide open and I yelled inside and rang the bell. She never answered. I left only for her to call and say I was never there. I told the dispatcher tell the lady that her yellow couch was nice. She then apologized and said "Oh I must have been in the laundry room!" You people act as if you sit by the front door for hours all day and we just never show up. Take some responsibility!
