Maybe you'd like to take Haskell (http://www.haskell.org/) out for a spin? You say you want a list of Fibonacci's numbers? How about all of them...



fibs = 0 : 1 : (zipWith (+) fibs (tail fibs))


...But maybe you only want to print out the first ten?...



main = print (take 10 fibs)


...All that conciseness plus polymorphic static types which are automatically infered for you so you don't have to write them down.

    Or Erlang. Very expressive, and excellent for concurrency.

    But both are still niche languages, so they are on my radar, but not going to feed my family. RoR just might.
