Did you check your firewire host controller driver?
Try also downloading the last driver: http://www.m-audio.com/images/global/drivers/FW_WDM_5.10.0.5036.exe

hi, iv recently bought a new PC and have misplaced the installion c.d. for my m-audio firewire 410 during moving homes. is there anyway to get this installion programme or a download so i can continue using it on my new computer?
stephen

There are two sets of drivers that have to be installed on the PC and a VERY specific order that they have to be installed in.
I installed a 410 PC studio recently and we had to reinstall the drivers 3 times.
You want to eventually get a red M-Audio logo at the bottom of your screen. If you don't have that, the drivers are not installed correctly.
Good luck - Go get a Mac :)
