Hello, Great article. I'm in the process of building my own Gentoo based MythTV box and am having problems getting my ira3 ir receiver to work. I got to your page after a google search. I was wondering if you could send me your modded ebuild for libirman and let me know where you put the patchfile, i'd appreciate it. Doing everything with ebuilds makes life easier. Thanks |

I put the patch file in /usr/portage/media-libs/libirman/files, and then had to add its MD5 checksum to another file, but my notes aren't quite clear on it. I've apparently wiped it out after synchronizing my portage tree, so it doesn't appear that I can give really detailed instructions. If I can figure it out again, I'll put new instructions at the head of the future remote control article...
