I just bought a Stylistic 2300 and intend to run Debian on it. Could you please give me a few tips regarding configuration of power management and stylus/tablet functionality? (e.g. a X configuration file would be much appreciated too)

Switch to the testing or unstable branch, which now includes xorg. It has a driver (fpit) for the touchscreen. APM also works fine. Suspend2 should work. In the bios, set the power switch to power off (not suspend) and suspend type to ram, not disk, as there will be no Fujitsu-specific partition for the bios to try to suspend to.
