| Could someone help with a simple problem: in the initial screen, the "available devices" drop-down menu does not offer infrared as an option - only bluetooth and modem options appear. Thanks for any assistance | ||

I am not sure what I am saying is right. But I recall in Win2k, IR did not really work the way intended. There is a need to install another device driver which I could not remember the link as well before I got it working. But the hint is this. I was doing it with a LG phone and somewhere I found the driver, installed and suddenly my IR works.
