1079 msec! That's well over a second! Well.. I use SQLExplorer too with the Oracle thin driver and I don't face this problem. I hadn't heard of Free Toad. Will check it out |

Would you mind sharing your setup information. I have been having problems setting up SQLExplorer with Oracle using either the OCI or Thin client driver.

The JDBC driver performance of the thin driver vs oci driver is comparable.
