| It is certainly true that Rexx was invented within IBM, but certainly not by IBM. The inventor was Mike Cowlishaw, and he certainly deserves mention. Everyone within IBM used Rexx in the eighties on our VM and OS/2 systems. I have written tons of Rexx, mostly for one-of-a-kind jobs that otherwise would have taken losts of time. Later I more or less lost track of it. Thanxx for the pointers to open source versions of Rexx! | ||
