have none of u guys troubles copying the pics from the camera to the pc?? when i start copying them, after few seconds it stops and an error message appears..
i've tested the SD card in an another camera, it works ok there. i've also installed the new USB drivers, from the casio webpage. i still haven't installed the new firmware (1.01) yet, i don't want to do that because maybe i will have to return the camera..
any suggestions?? tnx a lot

Let us know your operating system and computer, and that might help. I haven't experienced any uploading problems with the Mac.

Win XP, Athlon 3200- so no problem there. And i have no trouble using other hardware via USB 2.0.
I've tried to upload some mp3 (larger files) to the camera. that worked well. but the download seems to have some problems. sometimes, when i copy the files one by one, it goes ok. but when selecting more files, after few of them it stops..
and now the funny thing. i gave it rest over night. now i tried it out, and it worked:)

but still, any of u guys experienced sth like that?

      tnx a lot

it was an accident, that it worked. later on- the same problem.

now i tried to swith the camera from 'usb mass storage' to 'pict bridge'. seems to work this way, it's a bit slower though (imho).

I have had a lot of difficulty in uploading the photos to my imac G5. (OS X 10.3.9). Iphoto hangs virtually every time when I try to import in there. Using Finder to transfer the images to the hard disk is slightly more reliable but again seems to often hang, even when only transferring a few images.
Transferring images to my IBM Thinkpad is OK. I confess that I would not have bought the camera if I'd have known I'd have these problems but clearly others' cameras work fine with iphoto?

I have a different camera (SONY DSCH1) and I am having the same problem with iPhoto 06 on a intel iMac, it hangs importing .mov files. I even tried different card readers. My old G4 didn't have any problems using the same card readers. Not sure what else to try! Just wondering if you are still having the same problem.
