If I was to choose between the Sony DSC P200 and the Casio EX-P505 what would the recommendation be. I want good quality photos, size of prints is not a huge issue for me. I also want to be able to take movies. I have fair skin kids with blue eyes and I don't want red-eye. The P200 looks ok for that (not sure about the P505). The problem with Sony for video is that you need high capacity expensive cards.

You'll have to find someone who's shooting with a P200 to get the real scoop. But the movie mode looks average at best. Sony isn't using MPEG-4 with this camera.

If you want to compare apples to apples, I'd look at the Sony DSC-M1. It too is a hybrid camera like the Casio P505. You can read a review of the M1 at PCMag.
