I've also looked at the graph-in-wiki limitation and ended up suggesting images for embedding into documentation pages, and just link to the source documents.

Maybe a better option would be support for graphviz/dot natively in the wiki so they could be edited just like anything else (e.g. text). Why make special exceptions and applications? After all, it's just a of stuff. There are already some projects going in that direction.

    IMHO that only works if you're happy editing the graphviz/dot format, rather than using a tool to create your diagrams (as is the case with non-technical users). Or, I guess, you have to modify the tool to export direct to the wiki.
