Skype seems tp be promsing but if you look at the forums you will see how users are angry with the help they are not getting from the company. Support is what you expect from a vendor when you *pay* for some service. And Skype totally seems to ignores SkypeOut the VOIP services to land phones and mobiles support. And you even *must* fax your credit card fron and back including a latest statemen if you want to be SkypeOut minutes. I could not get to pay 10 Euro with the credit card I've been using to buy computers PDAs offthe net. What age are we living in?

  I am sorry to hear that you have had difficulties purchasing Skype Out minutes... I indeed heard about such difficulties but did not encountered them myself during my testing and was able to enter a credit card number in the online form. When I checked the forums to write this article, the situation seemed solved for most users — but maybe it was just a temporary situation.
