I recently contracted FedEx for a next business day delivery of a time-sensitive legal document in New York City. Three days passed and the package was not delivered. The tracking information shown online indicated "incorrect address" and my package was returned. But the delivery address was error free. FedEx's explanation was that they physically went to the address and was told that the recipient was not living at the address. FedEx refused to re-ship the document. Apparently, FedEx was lying! A shipping agent that I used to send the package was kind enough to pay FedEx again to re-ship the returned package to the same address with an assurance that the address was still good. A week later, the tracking information indicated that my package was finally "delivered" to a person whose name was different from the recipient at a different location. (I assumed that the recipient must have authorized his friend to take the package on his behalf.) One month later, I was told by the recipient that he had not got the document that I dispatched. I called FedEx and was told that they had delivered my package to another person at another location, which was different from the address I correctly put on the address label. FedEx's explanation this time: they made a mistake. Later I found out that the location they "delivered" my package to was one of FedEx's own locations in New York City. I have a strong reason to believe that FedEx simply lost my package at some point and was making up a story trying to shirk its responsibility.

    I'm an Fed Ex employee and although i've been with the company for more than 13 years, I do hate it, but I'm stuck working for this piss ass company untill I retire. That doesn't mean I get a kick out of what you dumb asses write and all your worthless complaints. Go read the UPS sucks forums and you will see the same complaints with different names. People make mistakes, we're human. Just like you dumb asses who ship with Fed Ex, you all make mistakes too. Just a few examples...

    1. Don't try and rip the company off by using your automated system and put 1 lb for your package that actually weighs 75 lbs. We catch this and when you do, we actually make that 75 lb box a 150 lb box, so when you thought you were trying to get by on us, we actually screwed you in the in.


    2. Don't try to stuff more than 8 oz's in an overnight letter. First of all, it doesn't fit and when we lose all the contents in that package, don't blame us, blame the ass whole who tried to fit more than the 8 oz's. It says right on the letter, up to 8 ounces. Also, when you do this, we usually mark it up to a 10 lb pack to once again, try to fuck the dumb ass customer...it's all a game to us, don't u see.


    3. For all you schmucks that use airbills, a little advice. The airbill comes in 3 parts. A Customer copy, a Fed Ex copy and a Recipient copy. Don't take the Fed ex copy, thats how we bill your silly asses. Once again, when you take this, this leaves us no option than to take revenge on you again and make that package a 150 lb package, so when you get your bill and see that you shipped a 150 lb package it's becuase you took our copy like a complete moron because you can't read correctly or are trying to get over on us once again.


    4. Even if the pacage has the correct address BUT has a incorrect zip code, it's still considered a bad address. So when you say, it's the correct address, actually, no it's not. We sort by zipcodes idiots and if you don't have the correct zip code it goes possibly to another station that doesn't service your area, or ends up in the missort pile. This also lets us charge you an extra 10 dollars for not havnig the correct zip code. Oh yeah, for all you dumbasses that forget to even put a zip code on the airbill....once again.....it shows us that you customers are as stupid as you think we employees are. It all goes hand and hand.


    5. When we hand you a delivery manefest to sign. It is numbered 1 through 36....1 being the first line you sine and so on until we fill up the page going sequencial to 36. Why would some dumb ass sign on line 18 if there as been no other signatures. I'll tell you why, you all are fucking idiots. When that does happen, it lets us know who is a fucking moron and we make fun of during the sort the next day.


    6. For the dumb ass who said he had a 10 am delivery he was waiting on. Ok dumbass, but we don't have a 10 am service. Nor does UPS, or DHL...it's 10:30.


    I could go on and on, I just figured I would write a little bit how much you customers suck as much as us fed ex employees do.


    Thanks for the kind words, it does make me laugh to read about all your misfortunes. Yes, I'm sure some of the problmes were ours, but I'm willing to bet 90 % were your fuck ups.....

      In regards to your post.. Hey listen.. besides being a lil on the human side when it came to your jesture, I saw nothing but a few noticable truths.. lol.. Sure, I guess we all are sometimes a little forgetful about the other guy... but everything you said was truthful and up front ! Now that I can respect ! Besides that it was funny as all get out ! ( I'm just glad I'm not one of those dum asses ! ) lol.. ( atleast most of the time ! ) Hang in there and I hope I just won myself some brownie points so that when I do end up becoming a dumbass, that you won't be inclinded to see that my delivery ends up in BFE ! lol... ( I live in the H5 area.. K ? )

    They really suck!! We had a shipment sent ground on 12/27/04 and received the confirmation and tracking from FEDEX with a delilvery date of 12/29/04. We checked it the morning of the 29th to see that it was in our nearest hub at 5:30am and expected it to be deilvered that day. No such luck!! Without making an attempt to even put it on the truck and deliver it they update it with "cannot locate recipient". No duh, you stupid morons...if you actually tried to deliver you would have found me!! After several calls with the same script of "it was an address error" I got fed up. It's the same dang address you deliver to every other week!!!! How can it be wrong when your own email you sent me had the same correct address?? They assured me that a message would be sent to the hub to make sure it would be on the truck next day. The 30th came and went and no truck again. The 31st updated to show it was now on the truck and out for delivery. Yeah!! Oooppsss I spoke too soon..remember this is FEDEX we're talking about. At about 8PM I called again to find out where my package was now only to be told they deliver even later if they have too. Well, at 8AM the next morning the website still showed out for delivery...that's one heck of a route they gave that guy or he's on some serious uppers to keep his shift going. Either way, it's New Year's Day and they don't deliver today, tomorrow or even Monday since it's home delivery. So now I get to wait almost a week past the day they said I'd have it...that's if they manage to somehow miraculously find the box, get it on the right truck and the driver heads in a northerly direction towards my house and accidentally finds my street. When it absolutely, positively has to be there on time....use UPS! Have a great day!

      these are some stories, but i have one also. its a few days before christmas and i forget to ship someones gift, now remember its a few days before christmas and i dont want it there a week later. So i put the gift in a box and wrap it up nice, i go online with my fedex account and i create an airbill, the shipping fee is about $80.00 next day to California. The fee wasnt the problem, fedex comes that afternoon and picks it up. I asked for them to come before 6, and they said that the driver would be there between 12-6. the clock stirkes 7:15 and heres fedex. I give him the package and i say your late and i slam the door, i knew right then that there was going to be a problem. That day was the 22nd, i go online at about midnight, and theres no such airbill number in fedexs system, i call them and they tell me that there is no info on my package! i dont get to worried until i wake up the next morning, i live in MA do theres 3 hour time difference so i check fedex around 1 or 2 and its not close to CA, its sitting in Hatfield MA, with an arrival scan of 10AM. did the fedex guy drive his truck and my package home?!?! well that infuriates me, i call fedex and i say if its not in CA by christmas im going to raise hell. The lady assures me that it will be there later on today and the system hasnt been updated. Before i go to bed i check again, no such luck! its in hatfield!! I call fedex and i tell them to return the package to me, and i will use DHL, i get the package back the 27th. I then quickly go to DHLs web site and at this point the shipping doesnt matter so i choose ground, it cost me $5.00 and they picked it up on the 28th and delivered it on the 29th. AMAZING!!! DHL is the best carrier you can choose from, UPS takes to long and they kicked my dog!

        After 6 months of FedEx crushing , and late deliverys of destroyed packages . I called the CEO and got Sisela Black the CEO'S flunky , when I asked why a overnight package took 3 days I was told that is only overnight M-F .She claimed they only deliver on Sat if you pay over the overnight price . BS . When I asked why they kepted stacking the computer cases I ordered on their sides when the box is makeed this side up she said they DONT follow the instructions they just ship it .What in the hell are we paying them for. They dont care about the customer . Just the money they can STEAL . This BS company has cost me hundreds of dollars and I think its time we as the customers they are mistreating stop using them. The company I use for my companys parts as of next month will be switching to UPS as a result of FEDEX and its bad service . Ask all that have shipping to STOP USEING FEDEX . SEND THEM TO SHIPPING HELL . They belong there.

          I work for the shipping company from hell, FEDEX. You should not take all your anger out on all FEDEX employees. My customers like using the company as long as I am there driver. Just today I took three packages and got them delivered that had been sitting in the terminal for three or four weeks waiting for my manager to do a address correction on them. I felt sorry for the people waiting on them so I felt that as a employee of this company that I should do something about even if it was not my responibilty. Finding people in this company to do extra or even there job is vary hard. Personally I would not ship anything with this company currently I am looking for a different job not because I dislike the work but the company. THis company pushes and pushes its employees tell they quit just today I worked from six o'clock in the morning till six tonight without any breaks or lunch, I broke every law and every rule to get my job done. And when I came in I made them aware that my truck has tail lights out and a tire coming apart on the back and the back door is broke to where it has a wire holding it shut so packages do not come out. And they wont fix it because we don't have a spare. This company is a joke I hope people can understand that as a driver I don't understand there ways and wish that things where different. Until they are I always use brown.

          I work for FedEx and I clearly state to everyone that fedex does not deliver on sunday and that delivering on a saturday is an extra charge. If you or anyone at your company would ask about these things instead of being a flaming jerk you might get better service. I can't even think of a company that moves anything on sunday. Most companies don't even ship anything on saturday. Also the reason FedEx can get things everywhere so fast is that it is an automated system, which means there are very few real people touching your package. Thats why we say to pack your package well. If it breaks open or it gets damaged 99.9% of the time it's your fault. So leave FedEx alone. It only works as well as you can understand it. Which it seems like is not very well at all......... Thank You For Shipping With FedEx Kinkos.......Jerk.
