Can you use raw files and adjust the color on opening or do you get the color right to start with

    I try and get the color right to start with. Shooting digital and having the LCD display to check color and composition with is truly invaluable. If they don't look right, are too dark or too light, you can try different exposure lengths.

    But better yet - I shoot in RAW on top of that. This gives me the *option* to tinker with the color in the post-processing phase if I need to. For the food shots in this article, I ended up adjusting the levels and the saturation a bit to heighten the contrast and make the colors adjust more to what the eye truly sees (and the camera cannot).
