Personaly, I don't think that Google will intrude on my privacy anymore then Yahoo already has.
But some people are complaining that Google will be able to access emails that they sent to a Gmail inbox. The idea being that they did not sign an agreement with Google assuring their privacy.
(I believe that that the privacy of your inbox covers all incoming messages, but I'm not sure.)
Do you think this is a valid fear?

Once again, any mail sent to any of the numerous email providers that filter spam will be scanned by a computer. In that sense, sending mail to GMail will be no more intrusive to privacy as sending mail to hotmail, yahoo, AOL and the other spam-filtering providers.
