Mac OS X for the Traveler, Part 1

While this is a good review of safety precautions when traveling with a 'computer' I don't see any pertinence (other than the mention of Disk Utility) to Mac OS X.

It would be helpful to have a good presentation of FileVault, keeping your Keychain on a removable usb-key, not storing information in the browser, using Disk Utility to make encrypted disk images for specific data, locking out Single-User mode, GPG keys, and even just requiring a good/secure password to login to your account.

First of all, thank you very much for your feedback, I really do appreciate it! :-)

As you can see, this is only part one of the series and many aspects that you discuss will be covered. You can already have a look at the MacDevCenter articles on Security for Mac OS X and FileVault.

    Thanks again!
