I produce quite a lot of music in a hobby kind of way, and the stability of freebsd and associated audio apps has meant a lot for my productivity.


if you feel like experimenting i recommend spiralsynthmodular. Its a real eyeopener when it comes to what you can do. Also its geared towards live-use which makes it extra cool.


For recording and masterin i am still in windows, i cant wait to change tho.. someone up for making an opensource version of saw32? ;)
