Hi, You state in your first topic that Eclipse uses a different compiler. What makes you think that. Eclipse doesn't ship with a compiler ! Regards, Lee

Please take a look at the JDT FAQ. You can use other compilers with Eclipse but the built in one works quite well so there is little reason to do so.
