Is the author impartial? GIMP 2.0 uses GTK+-2 and works nice under Windows. It handles (at least at my PC) images from 5 or 8 megapixel digital cameras. GIMP 2.0 user interface is much better. Ok, it lacks more than 8 bits per channel and full color prifiles management, but it will gain it when GEGL will be implemented. Cinepaint version for Windows is much less stable than GIMP 2.0.1. |
