I have an MPx200, and as a developer I'm not entirely happy with it. It seems Motorola have indicated they will not provide an upgrade path to Windows Smartphone 2003. This is a big negative for me, although perhaps not for Joe average, because you can't author .NET applications for it. (As your article points out). The phone itself is quite good- I'm also very impressed by the depth of knowledge in the article. It's a disadvantage that it doesn't have a joystick control, which the i-mate and o2 xda 2 phones have. |

The other item to consider is that the AT&T Wireless version of the MPx200 is dual band for 1800/1900MHz. AT&T Wireless is switching to 850/1900. Here's an article that explains the situation:
