Or, if you wanted a command to only run at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays, you could use the following: 0 5 * * 1-5 command I believe this would run at 5 IN THE MORNING (A.M.) to run it at 5 PM you'd use: 0 17 * * 1-5 command Right?

Indeed you are right. The crontab uses 24hr time and the text should read 5 a.m.
