I'm not at home and so don't have access to a Mac, but isn't there a typo in the loop fragment listed above? `ical.todaysEvents do \|event\| puts "#{ical.startTime} - #{ical.summary}" end` In the `puts` line, shouldn't the two occurrences of "ical" be replaced by "event"?

Yes, you are certainly right. Funny how something so simple can slip by everybody.
