In the first example, the doEndTag of the Hello class is missing the return statement. I assume it was meant to be something like the following:



public int doEndTag(){
try {
JspWriter out = pageContext.getOut();
out.println("</table>");
} catch (Exception ex){
throw new Error("All is not well in the world.");
}
}



return EVAL_PAGE;
