prebinding Problem?

The update_prebinding command will never be able to prebind all the files stored on your hard drive, for various reasons — because they contain some special forks, because they are of a specific kind... Therefore, these "could not prebind" errors can usually be ignored safely.
However, the "bus error" is definitely not normal. Since the command exits before its completion, it may mean that it was unable to handle a corrupted file or that another process interfered with it.
The first thing to do would be to perform a few maintenance and optimization tasks in order to make sure that no minor disk error or permissions issue could prevent Mac OS X from running normally. In order to do so, follow these steps :
You may also want to use the "Apple Hardware test CD" that came with your computer to make sure that no hardware issue ( RAM... ) could cause this.
