Easiest way is to turn on the TCP/IP Print Server on the XP machine, and share her printer. On the Mac, connect to it via LPR and use the share name as the printer name.

    The solution that worked for me was to add UNIX printing service to the Windows box. You need to go to control panel, then add and remove programs, then add/remove windows components to find it, and you will be prompted for your Windows install CD, so have it handy. You will then be able to add it to you Mac as a networked windows printer. If you cannot find the exact model of printer, use the nearest match. This should get it to work right instead of spewing blank pages, printing nonsense, or doing nothing at all.
