I agree that Filters are nice but having seen the power of Interceptors why not just use them instead? WebWork uses Interceptors out-of-the-box while Struts has it as an seperate add-on so both of the popular web frameworks have them. Given that, what advantages do I get with Filters (at least at the conceptual level not at how they were implemented per project)
