Is there any need for concern in connecting 2 mac's (Pismo power book and Blue & White G3) via firewire with a 6 pin to 6 pin cable. Would this cable connect the power leads of both computers together???

    I have been using laptops as external hard drive with desktop Macs over 6-6 FireWire-cable many times with no noticable problems.
    First you boot your desktop and then connect your laptop via FW 6-6 cable and boot your laptop while holding "T" key down. This makes your laptop function as an external hd for desktop.

      "T" is for disk Target. That makes it easier to remember and thats what it stands for.
